Chase County Weight Information:
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, weight training will be different and may change throughout the summer. Please be sure to read the rules below and note the schedule for each grade.
Rules:
-If you are sick or running a temperature please be sure to stay home and let a coach know.
-All athletes must sanitize before and after lifting.
-Athletes will need to use the 6 foot social distancing rules while in the weight room.
-Only 25 athletes will be allowed in an area at a time.
-It is important all athletes stay in their same group throughout the summer to prevent cross contamination.
-Once athletes are finished lifting they must leave the school grounds.

Weightlifting will begin Monday, June 1st. Students will come dressed (no locker rooms), bring their own water bottles and mask (optional). We will be using social distancing as athletes will be assigned at a station placed 6 feet apart.

Schedule:
Weightlifting will begin on Monday, June 1st and take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer.

High School Boys 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM- 15 Minutes to disinfect and clean. This will allow for transition between groups.

High School Girls 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM- 15 Minutes to disinfect and clean. This will allow for transition between groups.

Junior High Boys and Girls 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM- This will be our largest number since Boys and Girls are together. One group will begin in the Auxiliary Gym (Boys), while the other group (Girls) begin in the weight room. At 25 minutes we will switch groups with a 10 minute break transition time to disinfect equipment.
