2025 Summer EBT Information

Parents/Guardians of students eligible for Free or Reduced-price school meals in SY 2024-25 qualify for and will receive SEBT cards with $120 per student to purchase groceries during summer break. The SEBT card will be delivered to the address that Chase County Schools has on file for eligible students. If your student qualifies for SEBT and they have moved please update their mailing address by calling the school at 308-882-4228 by April 18, 2025. Providing a current and correct mailing address helps ensure your household can use its SEBT card funds. The funds are available for only 122 days after their first issuance so issuing to the correct address is important!  Date of card issuance depends on how a student qualifies for SEBT:. (1) SNAP, Medicaid, TANF =  April 23, 2025  (2) F/R students eligible by extended Direct Certified benefits, meal application submitted to school, migrant, homeless, foster = depends on when school submits data to the NDE via NDE Portal (review issuance table attached) Most or all of Chase County Schools students will be uploaded by April 21, 2025 with an SEBT Card Issuance date of April 23, 2025 and Expungement Date of August 23, 2025.

Action Needed! Ensure your eligible student receives a Summer EBT grocery card by updating their mailing address if necessary.
