Today we celebrated some of our high schools students who are Top Ten in their class on a section of the PreACT or who saw a two point or more jump on their ACT this Fall. We will catch the rest of the students in classes next week. We are proud of your academic accomplishments!

Student Council is hosting a Hot Cocoa with Parents before school on Tuesday, December 19th for all 5th-8th graders.
All students are welcome, but must bring an adult with them. Students may bring a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, Teammate Mentor, etc. If an adult is not with the student, the student will be asked to follow their normal morning routine.
Students will be served hot chocolate, parents can choose between hot chocolate or coffee. Creamers/marshmallows/cool whip will be available upon request.

The Junior Class could still use more people to help with concessions between 4-6pm for the basketball game on Saturday. Please sign up if you're available.

George and Navy have just won $2,500 in Samsung tech for the school through the “Samsung Solve for Tomorrow” challenge!! They will now compete to be state champions and win $12,000 in Samsung tech!
The 7th and 8th grade Math students are using the Quiz-Quiz-Trade cooperative learning structure to review math vocabulary today. Teachers learned how to use this structure in Friday's inservice workshop with Kagan Cooperative Learning. Great work!
Note that some classes, K-8, will be MAP testing throughout the next 2 weeks. Please check with your students to see if they have a test coming up.

Chase County Junior High Boys Basketball meeting Monday, December 4th in the Auditorium after school 3:30 PM for students interested in playing. After the meeting we will do some conditioning and have open gym from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM in the shorthorn gym.
Junior High Boys Basketball Practice will begin on Tuesday, December 5th at 5:15 PM in the Shorthorn Gym. The first JH Boys basketball game will be played Thursday, January 4th in Dundy County Stratton at 2:00 PM.
