Merry Christmas Longhorns! One of our favorite gifts is seeing our students be successful in their collegiate studies. Congratulations to these Imperial students for making the Dean’s List at UNK for the Fall 2022 semester!
Students who are on the dean’s list must have completed 12 credit hours or more of classes with a 3.5 grade-point average or better on a 4.0 scale. Students earn a 4.0 for an “A,” 3.0 for a “B” and 2.0 for a “C.”

We surpassed our goal, 1281 items, for the food drive. FBLA and Student Council would like to thank all those that helped contribute to the food pantry. Mrs. Bartels and Mr. Herbert's classes were the winning classes. Thanks Dallas and Doug for your help.
Basketball with Bridgeport scheduled for December 22 has been postponed due to the extreme temperatures. The Girls game is scheduled for 1/31/23 @ Bridgeport and the Boys has been rescheduled for Monday 2/13/23 @ Bridgeport.

The Multicultural Club is hosting Family Night tonight in the commons area from 6:00-7:30PM. Stop by to play some games, do a Christmas craft, or enter our dessert raffle to win a sweet treat!
On Friday Dec. 16th First Grade students performed Christmas plays for their families and then made a sugar cone Christmas tree in the classroom. Fun was had by all! 🎄

The start time of the wrestling tournament in Sidney for Saturday has been moved back to 10:00 am MST. Wrestlers will depart from the high school at 5:45.

The Chase County Longhorns will travel to Wray, CO to take on the Eagles today. Boys and girls will play all three levels! Here is the order:
High School Gym: JV girls (4:00), Varsity girls (5:30), Varsity boys (7:00)
Jr. High Gym: JV boys (4:00), C-Team boys (5:30), C-Team girls (7:00)
Radio: 102.9 Jack FM
Youth Hoops will go from 9:00-10:30 AM on Saturday, December 17th. 2nd-3rd graders in the Aux gym and 4th-6th graders in the Longhorn gym. This is the last time we'll meet until January. See you there!
