Another AMAZING week here at Chase County Schools, and another group of fabulous kids! These are this weeks PBIS winners. These kiddos are just some of our many safe, respectful, and responsible students. They showed these characteristics by volunteering to help clean up the cafeteria by picking up a napkin or wiping up a tiny spill. They were first to be quiet and set an example for others in the classroom. They helped friends when they need it and much more!

FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) attended the District Leadership Conference in Arapahoe, NE last week where they learned about leadership and connected with other students from southwest Nebraska.
We are super excited to announce another student was selected to participate in an All-State ensemble! 8th Grader Cadence Lambert was chosen to play Flute in the 8th Grade All-State Band. She'll travel to Kearney in January to rehearse and perform a concert with the ensemble!

Congratulations to the 2022-23 Longhorn Yearbook staff. Yesterday they earned a Cornhusker award at the Nebraska High School Press Association Fall Convention. The Cornhusker is the highest honor given to high school journalism publications by the NHSPA.

We are super excited to announce that 3 of our wonderful choir students were selected as members of the NMEA All-State Choir! Navy Havel, Tessa Smith, and Beau Weiss will head to Lincoln in November for 3 days of rehearsal and a concert at the Lied Center for the NMEA conference!
