These are our monthly PBIS winners! All month we keep the tickets given for being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe and pull one winner from K-2 and one winner from 3-4. We also honor our teachers for recognizing our students. Thank you to all our teachers for reinforcing all the positive actions at CCS! 🧡🖤🤍

Chase County One Act and Speech coaches are learning great tips and tricks at the Nebraska Speech Communications and Theatre Association (NSCTA) conference in Kearney!

What a crew! This weeks PBIS winners are kiddos who help with all their heart. These kiddos were caught helping teachers and friends in the classroom, hallways, lunch room, and on the playground! When we are willing to be helpful we are showing consideration for others and selflessness. Those are some great characteristics! Way to go to ALL the kiddos who entered tickets into the box for these reasons and more! We are PROUD of our LONGHORN STUDENTS!

Our SPED department participated in the Western Region Transition Conference in North Platte this week. This opportunity provided them with assessments, strategies and helped to build a network with other teachers in the area. Let's hear it for our Longhorn staff who are always trying to be better for our students!

You know it's an exciting day in first grade when two students lose a tooth!
