We are super excited to announce that 3 of our wonderful choir students were selected as members of the NMEA All-State Choir! Navy Havel, Tessa Smith, and Beau Weiss will head to Lincoln in November for 3 days of rehearsal and a concert at the Lied Center for the NMEA conference!

Congratulations to Mrs. Zuege on receiving the NATA Secondary Art Educator of the Year Award tonight - we are so proud of you!

We are working on mastering Microsoft Word and will attempt to certify students taking Information Technology. This guy was able to pass both his Microsoft Word and Microsoft Word Expert tests this week.

Our 8th graders are learning how to write code and fix errors in order to insert and format pictures for websites. This IT Fundamentals class meets the new legislative requirements for computer science. Great work Mr. Gaswick and students!


Next week on Wednesday, October 18th all juniors (and any seniors who wish to do so) will take the ACT exam at school during periods 1-5. The test will be administered online, so students should bring their charged computers and may bring a calculator and a snack if they wish.

Every day our Grades 7-12 students can grab a "2nd chance breakfast" between periods 1 and 2 using their school lunch account. This ensures that they are well fueled and ready to learn. Each day around 70 students take advantage of the meal!
