CCS hosted a golf invite today. Our team had a great day overall with a 2nd place varsity team finish and 3 individual medals! Great job Longhorns!




Tomorrow, April 12th, all 9th graders will be taking the PreACT in the Auxiliary Gym during periods 1-4. All 5th and 8th graders will be taking the NSCAS Science test. Please make sure students get adequate rest and eat breakfast, coming to school prepared to do their best!

After Easter Break, students in Grades 3-8 will be state testing in Math and English. Students in Grades 5 & 8 will also test in Science. Please help students be ready to do their best and notify teachers if they will have planned absences. Teachers will notify parents of dates.

FCCLA returns from the State Leadership Conference in Lincoln with awards for: Gold Chapter, 3 STAR Competition Teams, Feed Nebraska, Families First, Community Service, and 1st Place for the most community service hours per member of any Nebraska chapter. These students have worked so hard this year with huge hearts of service for our wonderful community. They have earned our gratitude and recognition. Way to go, CCS FCCLA!

5th and 6th grade students were able to present a $700 check at the City Council meeting tonight. Students voted to donate a portion of their earnings from their February fundraiser to the city square project. Way to go 5th and 6th graders!🤍🧡

MPCC presents the cords to students who have taken the initiative to pursue college credit while still in high school. To earn one, a student must have successfully completed 12 or more credit hours through MPCC.
