McCook XC Invite Time Change: They are going to continue with the McCook Cross Country Invite today (9/16) with modifications. They are concerned with the heat at the time of the races. All Chase County 9th graders are taking the PreACT8/9 today. This is their first experience with ACT testing and they will have the opportunity to review their scores, tests, and answers with their teachers in the coming weeks. Good work freshmen!

Lunch Menu Changes this week: Wednesday, September 15th: The Taco in a Bag will be served using Frito’s Corn Chips instead of Dorito’s. The Grill Station will be having Grilled Chicken Sandwiches. Thursday, September 16th: We will be serving Grilled Chicken Sandwiches instead of Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. The Grill Station will be having Crispy Chicken Sandwiches.

Reserve, JV and Varsity Volleyball will take on Sedgwick County in Julesburg, CO on Tuesday with the Reserve game beginning at 4pm. Varsity heads to McCook Invite on Saturday. All times on the bracket are Central time.

Spanish 3 students wrote and illustrated their own children’s books this week using Spanish prepositions!
