Results of the 2025 SPVA Girls and Boys Basketball Tournament, finals played at MPCC....
🏀 CCS Girl's finished Runner-Up in SPVA after a loss to Bridgeport (58-48).
🏀 CCS Boy's were defeated by Perkins Co (57-54) in a close consolation game.


After a close game, Perkins boys take the win over Chase County boys with a final score of 57-54.
The Chase County girls are set to play in the championship game against the Bridgeport Bulldogs at 6:30 MT. If you can't make it, you can watch the game on Husker Radio.

5th and 6th grade students created radon awareness posters for SW Public Health Department



The SPVA Tournament continues today and tomorrow! The boys will take on Hershey at Hershey this afternoon and the girls will take on Hershey at NPCC this evening.

Last weeks PBIS WINNERS! Apologies I thought I had posted it. These kiddos are working hard daily to be respectful, responsible, and safe!


Students in the Ag. Education Welding classes visited with instructors from Mid Plains Community College about the CDL Training program. Students were informed about the high demand for truck drivers in Nebraska and also had the opportunity to try out the truck driving simulator MPCC uses in their CDL training program.


Today's signings were a success! Both ladies were well supported by family, students, teammates, and their elementary fans. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Peyton and Landree!







The Chase County Longhorns will host the Perkins County Plainsmen tonight (1/21) for the first round of the SPVA Tournament. Please see the image attached for information.


There are not one, but TWO Longhorn students signing with colleges tomorrow. We invite the public to come show their support for these two ladies.
