Imperial FFA had two other teams who placed in the top 20 at State FFA Career Developmen t Competitions:

Senior Livestock Selection-14th Place - Jayme Gittlein, Conner Stromberger, Violet Sparrow and Grady Wilson

Nursery & Landscape Management - 17th Place- Jaxsen Villareal, Charlie Johnson, Aidan Vlasin and Avery Beemer

Congratulations to Jayme Gittlein for being selected as a State Star Finalist in Agrticultural Production. Only 24 students from across Nebraska are selected for this honor. Jayme also placed 4th High Individual in the State Senior Livestock Selection Competition. Great job Jayme!

Congratulations to the Imperial FFA Agriscience team for placeing 4th in the state at State FFA competitions. Tatum May, Sawyer Sauder, Truman Olsen and Hayden Worth. Sawyer Sauder was 6th high individual.

Congratulations to the Imperial FFA Ag Sales Team - 3rd Place State Ag Sales Team - Tessa Smith, Anna Aragon, Jayme Gittlein and Tate Teply. Also congrats to Tessa on placing 3rd high Ag Sales Individual!

Can you believe it's the last weekend of March? Our March Madness Reading challenge has students reading so many steps at school and at home every week! Ms. Nickel's 3rd graders have moved into 2nd place, Mrs. Spady's 2nd grade still leads, and Mrs. Cupp's 2nd grade and Mrs. Poppe's 1st grade are tied for third with several other classrooms close behind! Tuesday is the last day of March! All of our steps will be counted, and our Top Three reading classrooms will win pizza parties! Read, read, read everyone on this final weekend of March!

Congratulations to the Imperial FFA Parliamentary Procedure team for winning Runner-up State Champion honors at the State FFA Convention. Team members are Beau Weiss, Navy Havel, Aidan Tomky, Damon Spady, Dominic Harris and Alayna Smith. Great job team!

Congratulations to Arlys Cupp on receiving the Honorary State FFA Degree. This honor is bestowed on those individuals with exemplary service to FFA. Thanks for all you do Arlys!
