The Chase County Cross Country team had two individual medalists at the state meet on Friday! Freshman Addison Hauxwell placed 4th in the Class C girls race with a time of 19:38. Haven Hauxwell capped off a fantastic cross country career by finishing 8th in a very fast and competitive Class C boys race, setting his course personal record time of 16:40. Great job, guys!!

Subdistricts for volleyball kicks off on Monday. Chase County will take on Bridgeport at 2:30 pm in Ogallala. Let's fill the gym with Longhorn fans!

During Parent/Teacher Conferences today the Multicultural Club will be hosting a free clothing giveaway. Clothing is available in a variety of sizes for FREE! Please stop by the auditorium and check it out this afternoon from 1-6PM. All are welcome - parents, students, siblings, etc.


8th grade students went to UNK to experience a "Star Show" at the Planetarium. We learned about how stars form, our galaxy, the 88 constellations, and more!

Cross Country competes at State this Friday! Head to Kearney to cheer them on and then stop in Holdrege on the way home for our football team's last regular season game! Go Longhorns!!


Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting a couple of reps from Omaha Performing Arts for a choreography workshop! We were able to learn a dance from the Broadway Musical 'Hello Dolly!' taught by a dance captain and swing from the broadway show! The students had so much fun and learned a lot about what it takes to be a professional performer!



So proud of all of these girls for an amazing season! A,C,D went undefeated B had only one loss. Fun group of girls to coach!

The CCHS Horticulture Class created fall designs using native grasses from the school's Arboretum and sunflowers left over from a local event.
