Just finished two days with this talented group of young people during Chapter Officer Leadership Training at the Nebraska Leadership Center in Aurora, NE. They worked with State FFA officers, met with other FFA officers from 12 different Nebraska chapters, and began to chart a course for the future of the Imperial Chapter! Thanks for giving up part of your Memorial Day weeked to do this!


Another great year of updating the all-time top 10 record board for the CCS boys. Yellow tags indicate new entries this season into the top 10. This year's group included 5 new school records and one new Class B and All-Class state record!!!


Spanish 2 students are finishing out the year making piñatas!





Back in April these Middle School musicians traveled to Arapahoe to represent CCS. They all had amazing vocal/instrumental solos and small ensembles!
All participants got ribbons!
Asher got 2nd in brass solos
Blake got 2nd in percussion solos
Dayra got 2nd in woodwind solos
Maria got 1st in string solos
They worked so hard! We are excited to take middle school back next year to Cambridge.

7th grade art students made ceramic face containers. Then they planted hair (wheatgrass) and watched it grow!




Last Wednesday, the 8th graders traveled to North Platte to celebrate their NSCAS ELA achievements. The students enjoyed Wild Bill’s Fun Center and Cody Go-Carts!











The flocking of flamingos 🦩 continues! This cheer fundraiser will go through the end of June and funds used to purchase a carpet-bonded mat specific for stunts and tumbling for cheer! Big thank you to those who have participated already! (Whether you were willing or not)







Zak Anderson punched his ticket to State Golf after taking 10th place at Districts today. The team placed 5th out of 16 teams bringing their season to a close.

The wind changed our plans but didn't stop our fun! What a great Field Day!








The 5th graders earned a lock in for meeting their goals on their ELA, math, and science NSCAS! Way to work hard 5th graders! 🌟
They had an evening full of games, relays, pizza, and ice cream. What a great way to make memories with classmates. 🐂








After a very windy day, the Longhorn golf team tied for 3rd at the last meet before districts. Gavin (3rd) and Zak (4th) placed individually!




Two yards already nominated for flamingo flocking and two more on the schedule for tomorrow! How many yards will these birdies visit in a month?!
Remember, names of all participants go into a drawing for one of 3 prizes at the end of June!



Our Kindergarten students sure loved having these seniors as TAs this year! Thankful they came back to let us celebrate them with ice cream and sunshine!




Today we celebrated all 10th and 11th grade students in the Top Ten on the ACT English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing or with a 2+ point jump in their composite score from Fall to Spring. Not all students celebrated are pictured. Great work this year everyone!








These Girls & Boys Track athletes will be headed to Omaha to represent Chase Co. in the State Track Championships next Wednesday & Thursday! Congratulations to all our Longhorns!
