
It's the last week for the Class of 2025!🎉🎓


6th grade technology class was tasked with writing instructions for a 2nd grader to create an About Me template. We brought in some 2nd graders for assistance!



Noah Rau, with Coach Bessler and Coach Lenners today. Noah set a new SPVA record in the discus with a throw of 192'8". The old record was held by Chris Bessler who threw 165'11" back in 1990.


The music department is presenting The Sound of Music this weekend! Come support these talented students.


Good morning Longhorn Fans! We hope to see a crowd at the SPVA Track Meet that Chase County is hosting today! Just a reminder that, because this is a conference event, there is an entry fee of $6 for adults and $5 for students.


5th grade science students tested what would happen to a dandelion puff if it was dipped into water. The results were surprising!


Congrats to the Longhorns golf team for finishing as runner-up at the conference meet! Shoutout to Gavin for taking 3rd individually and Zak for placing 5th—great work all around!

CCS is offering a USDA free summer meals program for all kids ages 1–18 with no income requirements! Breakfast and lunch are included. The program starts June 10. Please complete the Google Form to help us plan how many meals to prepare.

It was a beautiful, but tough day in Oshkosh for the Longhorns' JV. Aidan is bringing home 9th place from the Garden County invite! Congrats Aidan!


The 3rd graders had a great field trip and learned all about pollinators! Thank you Pheasants Forever for inviting us!

Chase County Schools is hosting 2 large track meets on May 1 and May 2. We are excited to announce that on May 1, during the middle school track meet, we will have Kona Ice here selling delicious treats! Proceeds will go back to Chase County Schools activities.
